Management Team

We are a vastly experienced team of electrical contractors whose experience ranges from residential work to commercial installations for leading brands such as Tesla, Morrisons, and Applegreen Electric. RV2 excels in servicing the entire electrical sector, offering design, testing, civil engineering, high voltage design, and installations through strong partnerships. With expertise in EV and Solar installation, RV2 has installed numerous residential and commercial solar systems and hundreds of electric vehicle chargers. Our commitment lies in delivering a transparent and approachable service, fostering enduring relationships built on trust. Our integrity-driven work ethic is evident in our long-standing partnerships with industry leaders like National Grid, Tesla, and others.

DEAN VICKERS

Managing Director

Dean established the company in 2008. Starting out as Dean Vickers Ltd, Dean re-branded the company in 2018. He has been installing EV Charging points for major clients, for over 10 years. He has vast experience in the electrical industry. He is married with two children and enjoys playing and watching sports and travelling the world on family holidays.

CRAIG VICKERS

Director

Craig lives in Wakefield with his wife and two children. He has a passion for rugby, having played both codes in his youth. Their lives are accompanied by Sam, the family Bichon Frise. Craig owned and managed Silvester’s Electrical Contractors from 2008 to 2022. He has vast experience in all forms of electrical installation, with a focus on Residential and Commercial Electrical works. Craig now specialises in Solar, battery storage and new build housing.

TONY SIMMONDS

Director

Tony joined the company in October 2021, joining with Craig, from Vester Associates Ltd. He brings a wealth of client-side experience, having worked for ASDA, Tesco, Pets at Home and American Golf in their Development teams. Outside of work, Tony has a passion for both art and nature. He is happiest when in the garden, or an art gallery. He is married with a family of dogs, cats, chickens and a parrot.

BEN KENDALL

Contracts Manager

Father of two, Ben is another nature lover. He is a keen bird watcher and angler. As a rugby player, Ben represented Great Britain and BARLA. He is an experienced electrical engineer, Qualifying Supervisor and Project Manager with a background of commercial retail electrical work.

DAN PAPE

Compliance & Contracts Manager

Dan joined the company in 2022. He has been an electrical engineer for 15 years. Dan began his career as an actor, appearing in TV dramas and comedies before concentrating his efforts on his electrical career. Dan is married with two young children. His excellent knowledge of BS7671 ensures that RV2 is always compliant.

Sam Webster

Head Of Operations - Energy

Sam joined RV2 Power in 2023, initially taking on the role of Project Manager within our Power Department, overseeing several of our Tesla build projects. It quickly became clear that Sam’s extensive experience in the domestic utility market meant we weren’t fully utilising his potential.

This led to the creation of RV2 Energy, a new metering arm of the business, which Sam now leads. Under his leadership, RV2 Energy ensures full compliance with mandated smart metering requirements and aims to secure additional contracts. By reutilising the smart metering workforce, Sam is driving growth across both the Energy and Power divisions, developing teams that complement one another and strengthen the company's overall capabilities.

Neil Corby

Construction Manager

Neil started his career as an auto electrician, running his own successful business before transitioning into civil engineering. Over the past 21 years, Neil has worked on a wide range of projects, including housing developments, roads and sewers, and brownfield development.

His extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise across these sectors have been pivotal in building RV2 Power’s in-house team from the ground up, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Outside of work, Neil is a proud father of two and has recently embraced the joy of becoming a grandfather.

James Deighton

Accounts Manager

James joined RV2 Power in 2023 after spending 14 years managing his family’s engineering company. He brings his many years of accounts management and payroll experience to the business and has overseen a complete reorganisation of the company’s paper trail and bookkeeping. He is currently studying for an AAT qualification alongside his work at RV2 Power.

In his spare time James enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and young daughter, travelling to European countries or the USA as often as he can.
