Current Opportunities
Electrical Design Engineer
Responsible for supporting the design of electrical systems associated with private networks and post-meter electrical infrastructure, while also contributing to the technical development of project tenders.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the preparation of technical proposals and tender submissions
-
Developing preliminary electrical designs during the bid stage
-
Designing private LV electrical networks and post-meter distribution systems
-
Designing electrical infrastructure for EV charging installations
-
Undertaking load calculations, cable sizing and protection coordination
-
Producing electrical drawings, layouts and technical documentation
-
Working closely with tendering, design and project delivery teams
-
Supporting project teams during installation and commissioning phases

Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations
Experience & Qualifications

Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience

Experience designing commercial or industrial electrical systems

Experience supporting technical tender submissions (desirable)

Knowledge of BS 7671 electrical installation standards

Experience working within approved contractor frameworks such as NICEIC (desirable)

Major Projects Manager – 33kV+
TAke responsibility for the delivery of high-voltage infrastructure schemes from contract award through to energisation. This role requires strong leadership and technical understanding to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

ICP Design Engineer – LV / 11kV–20kV
Responsible for producing electrical network designs from concept through to construction, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and adoption requirements. The role will involve working closely with project managers, tendering engineers and delivery teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant and deliverable.

Key Responsibilities

Producing design drawings including SLDs, layouts and cable calculations

Designing distribution substations and associated infrastructure

Liaising with DNOs and IDNOs to obtain technical approvals

Ensuring designs comply with G81 specifications and DNO standards

ICP Tendering Engineer – LV / 11kV–20kV
Responsible for preparing technical and commercial tenders for LV and 11kV–20kV connection schemes. Working closely with our design and delivery teams, you will ensure that bids are accurately costed, technically compliant and commercially viable.

Reviewing DNO connection offers and technical requirements

Preparing scopes of work, construction methodologies and programme assumptions

Pricing LV and 11kV–20kV electrical infrastructure, including substations and cable networks

Liaising with internal design teams and delivery teams during tender development

Identifying commercial risks and developing mitigation strategies

Seeking value engineering opportunities to improve project competitiveness

Engaging with supply chain partners and specialist subcontractors

Supporting bid submissions and client discussions where required
Experience & Qualifications

Experience working for an ICP, DNO or utilities contractor
